hey people,

a short update.

1. Monday at 1230pm, we will all meet at the entrance of Tuas Naval Base. Attire is strictly Polo T-shirt, jeans and proper shoes. I'd recommend no ankle length socks too cos TNB is pretty strict about attire and discipline. Sir Morgan has conveyed a message saying that he doesn't want to receive any complaints from TNB and complaints come free from there.


2. Book in time on Monday night is 2200 now. Please bring along your passport and also all your parade accessories that we are going to draw on monday. Make sure that your no.4 is fully prepared too, meaning all your ranks and formation badge is intact.

And there's no more news update! haha. Next week is BR week together with some CDF COC events happening. It's March already, meaning closing to 9 more months to ORD. C'mon, time's gonna pass faster than this. haha

3. This is something new, please bring 25 dollars for payment of some admin stuff for UDG. Hand in your money on sunday night to Kristen, our class treasurer.

4. CZ LOW, our oldest man has something to say.

Hey class, Zisky will be going sentosa every last saturday of each month. He will be at cafe del mar to relax and chill. It's relatively cheap to hangout there with minimum spending of 20 bucks for a day. The cafe itself will have events and party, so no worries about entertainment. We can also go there to play frisbee, beach soccer, volleyball or any other thing you can think of. So join him at sentosa every last saturday of each month to chill out and relax.

So people, the old man has spoken. It's our turn now. hahaha


People, this week no videos. Shall share sth to all of you. It's not for the faint hearted, but then again, who's fainted hearted in 31? :)

news update.

1. BOOK IN TUESDAY, 2nd FEB 2010 @ 2230. Divers' Gold and those who ran below 9:14 are allowed to book in in t-shirt and bermudas. All socks above ankle and only covered shoes are allowed. For the rest, it's still polo t-shirt and jeans. If you're caught (and i'm seriously going to catch) being in inappropriate attire. We shall scrap the whole deal and everyone shall book in in t-shirt and jeans forever or worst still, no.4 / no.3 uniform. I mean it. Play by the rules guys :)

2. Bring all your cleaning tools next week for book in. You guys seriously need them cause the bunks are seriously very dirty. So for a clean living environment, please bring the tools to clean your new bunks thoroughly. Also, there will be standby bed for both 29 and UDG block, so be prepared people.

3. The safety slogan competition is back again due to "popular" demands. Everyone is suppose to hand in a safety slogan by Tuesday night. Note: A slogan is not a poster, so it's very easy to do :)

4. If you have any things to help decorate the UDG block noticeboard, do bring them on tuesday night. I've already some funny things in mind. heh! :D

The following is admin instructions to all.

1. All BTT or tests unrelated to SAF will no longer enjoy the privilege of off passes, instead leaves will be deducted if you need to attend to such tests. So Eugene, Eric and Gabriel are the last lucky ones.

2. DO NOT. I SERIOUSLY REPEAT. DO NOT ask sir morgan for any canteen break or seng fatt break, or even liberty. The deal will be out next week according to what was discussed this week (some of you weren't present, but rest assured you are not shortchanged in any way.) Seriously guys, time to know what to do and what not to do. Respect the rank please.

here's the news update for this week.

1. Your primary concern about booking in time. Sad to say, it still stays the same. BOOK IN AT 2230 on 24th Jan 2010.

2. 5 person will be going for dental at nee soon camp everyday from 25th Jan 2010 onwards. The time slot is from 0830 to 1030. The names will be up by Sunday night cos' planning is still undergoing. Attire for dental is no.3 uniform.

3. Since notification of all medical appointments are to be done 1 week in advance, hence i make it a rule for all appointments to be made known to 3SG Jonathan Chua on Sunday or by monday night one week before your appointment.

For instance, if your appointment falls on the week of 8th Feb to 12th Feb 2010.
31st Jan 2010 and 1st Feb will be your latest dates to inform 3SG Jonathan Chua, if not late notification of appointments will result in your appointment being rejected, unless reason for late notification is justifiable. (FORGET IS NOT JUSTIFIABLE) Earlier notifications will definitely be welcome anyway. Also, all off pass will be issued on the Monday of every week as much as possible. So, it is your responsibility to follow Felix to the morning brief at 0730 on Monday morning if you want your off pass for your appointments. Similarly, off pass will not be issued if you don't go, because if you don't care about your appointment, why should I? :)

4. Please bring 45 bucks to pay for the diving license that we want so badly. So do bring it.

AND YOUR PASSPORT SIZE PHOTO ALSO OTHERWISE I'LL JUST PUT A PHOTO OF

HH ON YOUR LICENSE

5. Also, bring 20 bucks to pay Kristen for JK and Kok Feng.

Last but not least, punishments for mistakes made by individuals in the class will be discussed and finalise very soon. If you have any suggestions for punishments, do comment below. (you may do so anonymously) And brothers, please do not challenge the system for things wouldn't be nice if higher authorities have to step in. If punishments are meted out, do carry them out LIKE A MAN and not shun away from it LIKE A WUSS. But honestly, punishments are always a last resort, so we wish we don't have to resort to it. We just seek cooperation and discipline. However, every class will bound to have class sluts SIGH.
