Okay, here comes Felix.
Before I start, do vote on your right. haha. At least the class blog is livelier and I'll know who really visits. hahaha

Okay, First up.
For tomorrow, draw arms 0830(ACTUAL TIMING). But please take note that you need to come earlier to prepare your no.1 which is already in the squash court.

Second.
For the 14 guys who went on board RSS Brave. Please do up a reflection saying how you feel about the visit and not what you do at the visit.
100 words required. Send your reflections to:
1. PC Sicheng at linsicheng.62@gmail.com (note the dot before 62!)
2. MSG Tan Wu Hiong at wuhiong@gmail.com

Hand in by 2nd July 2010, 2359H.

Third.
Go here to read more about the racial harmony pledge.
It's simple.
So hand in on a piece of paper, your pledge and your name, to Wen Jie on Monday night when we book in. Thanks

Fourth.
To acknowledge the MINDEF mail.
Go to http://ns.sg. Login to your ns portal > my mailbox > (left hand column) my mannings.
From there, if you see a message to acknowledge in mymannings, acknowledge it after you have done your updates. You're required to respond to the mail ASAP.

Fifth.
I'll need dental updates from yaw khong, eugene and kwang regarding the actual date when you clear your status to your current one, SMS it to Shane. And reminder to all, please go book your appointment if your dental status is going to expire. Anyway, Shane's in charge of dental status so if you forget your expiry date, do approach him. He's monitoring all dental status closely.

Last but not least,
Book in time for Monday Night is 2230. I've stated it clearly here. So whoever who breaks the rule will get the deserving punishment, with no room for negotiation.

Some good to know facts :)

For the whole class guys' SATISFACTION

For SHANE'S SATISFACTION! :D

~Alexander

One year ago, when we were still under the hands of HH Tan... we went through thick and thin(i can say there was no thin.. all thick) with each other and now 1 year later, i decided to come up with a post to commemorate our journey as a HH certified diver.. oO

PS: this is an extra effort to make the blog look more lifely(before felix turns here into a serious blog) :D

Vote for your "best" hammering session !
SAF 2009, exactly one year before, we were at the field doing some hammering because we squat down in the MPH , we hammered for near 2h and HH didnt intend to stop... -_-
1000 body-builders during dive phase , we did it from 12am to .. say...3am?? although i skipped 200 bodybuilders with someone(forgot who was it..we were hiding in BMT block 01-01 :D )
500(or more?) 2-count push-ups at dive pool n bear crawl to slipway to continue with knuckle squats and eventually we were lying on the beach.. luckily on the day Mr lee went to hide if not there would not be any 31st batch left.. Intel said he was going to find Mr lee for 3 IBS boats...HENG)
LCT, doing swimmer exercise in the orange mud with some sick smell, an hour later or so roll in maggot pool because alvin keng and never camo his face.. guys , please fuck alvin.. :D(just kidding)

Welcome back to Singapore people! XSL is finally over! woots!

Here're some updates

1. Book in on Thursday 20th May 2010 at 2230. Bring your necessary parade accessories.

2. We all know that we need to write reflections for our trip, so here are some guidelines provided by Eugene to guide us on how to write them.

Reflection Guidelines

The following are some pointers you may like to write about to help you in your reflection. You don’t have to follow them strictly though. Best is if you write something which means most to you, to make this trip even more significant, for yourself.

  • What are the events in this trip that were most significant to yourself?
  • How did these events enrich/challenge the way you think and affect how you will do things in future?
  • Did any happenings reinforced your beliefs or values? What are they and in what way?
  • How does this experience in Taiwan relate to the greater picture of you serving National Service?
  • Does this experience in Taiwan evoke more meaning and purpose to what you do as a Diver? Yes or no and why?

Length Requirement

All of us are required to write at least 500 words on your reflection. Guess it isn’t too long and is an appropriate length for you to reflect and make meaning out of it trip.

  • Main Batch: 500 words
  • The MIDs, Songhon and Nat: 1000 words
  • Aloysius Goh: 500 words in Chinese

**Hand in your reflections to eugene at eugenesay2002@hotmail.com by the end of this week. Thank you to all!
